One in five people cares for an older relative, and many of these carers are also likely to be in poor health.
In order to meet the increasing demand and care for more people, we need to build a new day care centre to replace our current, outdated facilities.

Our vision
Our long term vision is to provide a complete centre for the care of older people, with a planned new day care centre, to support carers looking after loved ones in their own homes.
This will complement the 24 hour nursing and respite care provided in our beautiful new nursing home which opened in 2008.
CELEBRATING OUR CENTENARY
An open day is taking place on Sunday 18 April to celebrate the centenary of Hoylake Cottage.
Visitors can view an exhibition of Hoylake Cottage history, equipment and uniforms from decades ago; tour the old building and see plans for the future.
Fun activities for children include quizzes, a treasure hunt and face painting.
Refreshments are available and admission is free, from 1.30 to 4.30pm.
The event will introduce our Buy a Brick Appeal – a chance to help build the planned new day care centre.
