Sunday 5th September 2010 - Car Boot Sale
Come and join us at our car boot sale - Cash in your collectables, spring clean your attics, recycle unwanted items, a bargain hunters dream - beat the credit crunch!
Where: Clatterbridge Hospital (Car Park J)
When: Sunday 5th August 2010
What time: 11am-1.30pm (Stallholders from 10am, Buyers from 11am)
All pitches £10 for stallholders, strictly car booters only, no traders, no new goods, no dogs please, free admission for buyers, parking £2 (if barriers down)

Sunday 5th September - Gallon Walk
8 hours, 8 venues, 8 prizes. A charity walk from Hoylake to West Kirby stopping off at various venues for food, drink and entertainment. Make your way round the 8 venues, answering a treasure hunt question in each one for your chance to win a prize. Receive a free t-shirt and various discount vouchers for food and drink. All the family's invited...tickets £10 for adults, £5 for under-18's and under-12's go free! Tickets available from all participating venues: the Green Lodge, Red, Door, Collingwood, Moby Dick, The Hilbre, Slinkys, Lattetude, The Wro and Hoylake Cottage.

8th October - Ladies Lunch at Royal Liverpool Golf Club
Ladies will enjoy a 3 course lunch, fashion show, raffle, YSL beauty demonstrations, fashion by West Kirby boutique, Nula and the chance to peruse the Boodles jewellery collection. November - Make a Will Month
Local law firms will give up their time to make a wills in return for a minimum £50 donation to Hoylake Cottage
8th - 21st November - Hoylake Cottage Pie Competition
Local restaurants will compete against each other to make the best cottage pie. Customers will vote on the cottage pies and the short listed chefs will go through to the final where a panel of judges will decided the winner at the Post Sunlight Gourmet Food Fayre.
18th & 19th November - Christmas Bazaar at Royal Liverpool Golf Club
Fabulous stalls selling cakes, jewellery, clothes, pictures, home wares, candles and much more - products that you generally cannot buy from the high street. Great to stock up on Christmas gifts!
13th December - Lights of Love
An evening of carol singing, mince pies and switching on the Christmas tree lights. Each light is dedicated to a loved one to remember a birthday, anniversary or memory.
