Corporates

The Day Care Appeal Committee has a broad range of events and campaigns throughout the year, which offer
- excellent opportunities for promotion through sponsorship
- customer entertaining opportunities at an event
- activities in which staff can participate.
We run events at grass roots levels, such as musical concerts, small events and even a Cadets’ Challenge, which offer an excellent means of reaching the local community, and in turn publicity, for a modest cost.
There are corporate entertaining opportunities at events such as our annual golf day at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, recent host of the Open Championship. We have been privileged to stage an evening with the players of Liverpool FC, thanks to the support of Mrs Montse Benitez, Chair of our events committee, and we are currently planning a Beaujolais Run.
We encourage support for our ‘Challenge Yourself’ campaign calling supporters to raise funds while undertaking a walk, bike, run, slim or sky-dive - whatever or wherever takes their fancy. Whether it is the Wirral Coastal Walk or the Great Wall of China we can make all the necessary arrangements leaving the participant to focus on the training and fundraising.
Challenges are ideal in the workplace and have benefits to the company with improved confidence and self-esteem, while promoting team building.
Charity of the Year
Why don’t you consider creating a partnership with Hoylake Cottage – and adopt our Day Care Appeal for a year.
We welcome visitors and will be happy to show you our current facilities and also the plans for a purpose designed new Day Care Centre, so you can find out more about the need for our Appeal.
Match Funding
Employees will often arrange their own fundraising events and will encourage their employer to match the results of their efforts with an equal donation, thereby doubling the amount raised for our Appeal.
Matched Giving brings tangible benefits to your business by boosting staff morale and bringing company employees together to enjoy a variety of fundraising events.
So, why not put a smile on your employees’ faces and reward their fantastic charitable efforts by matching their sponsorship and donations to Hoylake Cottage.
Employee Volunteering
We are always in need of volunteers so why not allow your employees to donate a few hours of their time and talent to helping the Day Care Appeal. It could be a supermarket bag-pack, distributing leaflets, using an afternoon to hold a fundraising event or you may have your own ideas! Email fundraising@hoylakecottage.co.uk or call Emma Keenan 0151 632 7302 for more information.

There are many fun, easy and straightforward ways to support Hoylake Cottage while you are at work. Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is a simple, tax-effective way for employees to give to a charity of their choice. Setting up a scheme is easy, and the costs are minimal. Employees simply authorise their payroll department to deduct their donation from their regular pay packet. And because the deductions are made before tax, employees get the tax relief straight away.
