We need your help
One in five people cares for an older relative, and many of these carers are also likely to be in poor health.
In order to meet the increasing demand and care for more people, we need to build a new day care centre to replace our current, outdated facilities.
Sandhills Future Plans
The planned new Day Centre will enable Hoylake Cottage to further develop the service by:
- Accommodating the mental health teams on site
- Negotiate faster response to referrals
- Increase the number of clients receiving the service
- Develop occupational therapy – to keep people active and also allow for an increase in the number of assessments and interventions before a crisis, preventing hospital admission and providing support for carers
